Children have incredible instincts for discovery and their theories about how things work are often far more impactful than our agenda. Open-ended play and art materials facilitate spontaneity and prompts the question, “what happens when we follow a child’s lead?” At State of Play, young children are encouraged to experiment, hypothesize, and share their knowledge with those around them.

Part of the community we are building at State of Play is focused on creating a safe, supportive and informative space for parents and caregivers to access helpful resources from leading field experts about developmental benchmarks. We want to create a space that not only provides magical opportunities for children but also practical learning opportunities for grownups as well.
